Chanticleer Log Cabin is a restored turn-of-the-century log cabin resting on 26 acres with Lake Travis shoreline, only 45 miles west of Austin. Our 12+ years of dedication to privacy, relaxation and comfort sets us apart. Step inside to a queen bed draped with crisp, sun-drenched all-cotton sheets, fresh from the line (weather permitting). Along with central air and heat, there are ceiling fans and screened windows that can be opened for those cool nights. Soothe your soul in the claw-foot tub with bath gels, or sit on the porch in cozy bathrobes. Your cabin is stocked with homemade chocolate chip cookies, snacks, books, magazines, games, CD player and CDs, DVD player and movies.

The oak-shaded front porch beckons you with its pillows and seating. Grab the binoculars inside and watch the country folk that include birds, deer, chickens, and those cuddly miniature donkeys in the field that is your front yard. Take a stroll to the lake and snooze in the hammock beneath the aged oak.

Steps away are a hammock, gas grill, and a screened porch with a stone fireplace. Enjoy cool evenings in front of a fire with blankets and pillows in the adirondack chairs…spend some time roasting marshmallows we have left nearby. In the morning, your yummy continental breakfast can be waiting for you here.

If you time it right, you’ll be dazzled by a full moon’s dance on the lake.
