Directions from IH35

From South of Austin: 

Take Ben White Blvd (Hwy 71 West/Hwy 290) exit to the left (head west).

The highway will fork, veer left towards Hwy 71 West/Hwy 290/Johnson City.

Take the next exit, which is Southwest Parkway, turn right onto Southwest Parkway.

It will dead-end at Hwy 71.

 

Turn right onto Hwy 71, heading west.  

After a few miles you will see an HEB on your right, at the intersection of Hwy 71 and Bee Caves Road.  

The next light on Hwy 71 is RM 620.

Continue on Hwy 71 for 19 miles past the intersection of RM 620 and Hwy 71.

You will cross the Pedernales River.

7.4 miles past the Pedernales River, turn right onto Spur 191 at the Exxon.

From North of Austin: 

Take RM 620 exit to the south (or west), stay on 620 until it dead ends at Hwy 71.

You will cross the dam and pass Lakeway before reaching Hwy 71.

At Hwy 71, turn right, head west towards Llano/Marble Falls.

 

Once you are on Hwy 71, go 19 miles past the intersection of RM 620 and Hwy 71.  

You will cross the Pedernales River.

7.4 miles past the Pedernales River, turn right onto Spur 191 at the Exxon.

Directions from Highway 281

South of Marble Falls and north of Johnson City:

Turn east onto Hwy 71 towards Austin.

Go approximately 8 miles to the Exxon station.

Turn left onto Spur 191 at the Exxon.

**Chanticleer Directions from Spur 191 at the Exxon

Track your mileage from here. 

After 1 mile, Spur 191 becomes CR 410 (blue county road sign) at an intersection. 

Go straight through the intersection and stay on CR 410. 

CR 410 later makes a sharp curve to the right (there is a sign for CR410), you will pass the Holloway Cemetery gate on your left. 

CR410 then makes a sharp turn to the left at the top of a hill. 

Watch out, you can miss this: Turn right onto CR421 (the first road after the sharp curve). The CR421 sign sits back off of the road. 

There is a red fireplug at the corner.  

You have now traveled 3 miles from the Exxon. 

 

Proceed 1/2 mile, turn left into the Lost Cove entrance onto Lost Cove Dr.  

The road then curves to the right, then makes a 90-degree turn to the left. 

This dead-ends at a cul-de-sac. 

You are now at our split-rail entrance (we have the "Mellenger" cowboy sign above the cattle guard). 

Cross the cattle guard onto a dirt road, turn to the left, proceed up the road to the cabin on your right.

Turn into the drive by the screened porch.

 

**Dal Nonno and Villa Directions from Spur 191 at the Exxon

After 1 mile, Spur 191 becomes CR 410 (blue county road sign) at an intersection.  

Go straight through the intersection and stay on CR 410.  

CR 410 later makes a sharp curve to the right, go straight onto CR 411 (towards the Narrows Recreation Area). Be careful at this curve!  

Proceed to the 3rd gate on the left. 

The first one is white, 2nd one has a red sign on it, the 3rd one sits back from the road and is easy to miss. It is black and has a sign on the tree for the address ‘450’ plus a sign on the gate ‘450.’ Turn here!  

The gate may be closed, but it will be unlocked.  

Please close the gate behind you as you enter the dirt road.  

There will be a road off to the left for Dal Nonno, with a sign on a tree.

The 2 Villas are straight ahead ¼ mile. 

Please park in front of the rock wall for both Villas.
